AMS achieves ISO 27001 certification

AMS are pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for information security management via UKAS accredited Approachable Certification.

This means that we have met internationally recognised standards, with an intensive third-party assessment, demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards of information security.

Our customers rely on AMS for the secure transfer and storage of their confidential data. This achievement demonstrates that protecting the data and reputation of our customers is our top priority.

Complying with the standard demonstrates that AMS has:

• Systematically reviewed our information security risks, with analysis of the threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts.
• Implemented a comprehensive suite of information security controls and other types of risk treatment to address all risks that cannot be tolerated.
• Adopted an Information Security Management System to ensure that the information security controls continue to meet the required standard on an on-going basis.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
